Core ABAP Programming

I was doing Java support and wanted out. ABAP classes were very hands on, we were writing reports and enhancements on the practice server from week two. The debugging sessions were the best part. Offer came within two months of finishing.

Three years into manual testing, I wanted development but feared starting over. ABAP turned out to be the right bridge. The assignments get progressively harder in a good way, and the trainer reviews your code line by line if you ask.

I needed ABAP for an internal transfer to our SAP team. Content quality is genuinely good and far cheaper than German bootcamps. A few sessions started late, which as a German I must mention, but the teaching itself was excellent.

Twelve years in a non-IT job and everyone said I was too old to code. Finished the course at 38, practised two hours daily, got placed in a support role and moved to development within the year. Age was never the issue, consistency was.

The BDC and BAPI classes with real migration scenarios are where this course earns its fee. My interviewer went deep into exactly those topics. Also the WhatsApp group stays active with job posts long after your batch ends.

Did the recorded course during Ramadan nights at my own pace and attended the doubt sessions live. Very flexible arrangement. The enhancement framework module cleared concepts I had been faking understanding of for a year.

From a tier 3 city with average English, I was hesitant to speak in class for weeks. The Hindi batch option helped me a lot initially. Got my first job in Bengaluru. My only suggestion is more weekend doubt slots, they fill up fast.

Fresh out of college, rejected in nine interviews before this. The end-to-end development project gave me something real to talk about instead of textbook answers. Tenth interview was a yes.
